Evangelina Paoluccio, P.E, QSD/P | Engineering Manager | Inventive Resources, Inc.

I graduated from Franklin High School in 1998.  I pursued a civil engineering major at the University of the Pacific.  I was the recipient of the CIP scholarship which helped pay for the majority of my tuition, I still relied on multiple scholarships every year to help offset my books and miscellaneous expenses.  I graduated in 2004 with a BS in Civil Engineering.  I am a Civil Engineer, licensed in CA.  I have worked on various projects throughout my career since graduation,  many right here in San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties. Some of these projects that you can visibly see are the State Route 99 Pelandale Interchange, and Kiernan Interchange, and currently, I am working on a UV treatment vessel that is treating invasive weeds on the shores of South Lake Tahoe.  As an intern, I have worked on East Bay Municipal Utility District dams, State of California water treatment inspections, and private engineering industrial water compliance (basically walking open fields full of cows measuring monitoring wells for industrial water application sites).

I probably have done everything….and have enjoyed every minute.

Any student has the potential.  The problem is not all of us had the financial backing in the beginning.  No matter the size of the scholarships, we put them to good use!  The scholarships I received through the Stockton Teachers Association paid for books, engineering paper, mechanical pencils, tuition, etc…  It helped prepare me for a very hard major.

I am appreciative and please accept my very belated appreciation.  Thank you for continuing your scholarship program.  So many students have benefited just like me!
